Hey guys,

I saw a post about a NJ promotion that had a show this weekend but had to cancel due to Governor Murphy's Executive Order.  While I think it sucks the show had to cancel, I also think it's more important for us to protect our fans, roster, and staff from a rising COVID infection rate, especially as the second wave is no longer coming, but here.

New Jersey promotions have been blessed to have the opportunity to run shows this summer.  Between some long running shows to new promotions setting up shop, they had a chance to entertain fans desperate for pro wrestling action.

Now, imagine how the fans of Victory Pro Wrestling feel. They were unable to see wrestling shows on Long Island since March.  Eight months as of this post, and who knows how much longer!  It hurts knowing that our entire 2020 schedule since our anniversary show has been wiped out.  Updating fans monthly that our next show is cancelled eventually takes a toll.  And trying to put the 2021 schedule together without knowing what the future has in store for us is just as difficult.  

That's not stopping me, both as the owner of VPW and as a fan of wrestling, from having hope in our faithful fans who has been completely supportive of us, the talent of Victory Pro Wrestling, and the future of Independent Wrestling as a whole.

We will overcome... together.
