The event continues VPW’s growing presence beyond Long Island as the promotion expands its footprint across the Northeast. Last year marked the company’s debut in Yonkers with Memorial Mayhem, a tribute event honoring the late Juan Jeremy. The emotional evening brought fans together to celebrate Jeremy’s contributions to the wrestling community while introducing Victory Pro Wrestling to a new audience.

Now VPW returns with Legion of Honor, promising another memorable night featuring some of the promotion’s biggest stars.

The Yonkers event is part of an ambitious road schedule for Victory Pro Wrestling. In addition to the return to Yonkers, the company made its first appearance in New Jersey in May and will be debuting in Riverhead later this summer. VPW will also make its return to Portland, Connecticut in August, continuing the company’s effort to bring its brand of live professional wrestling to new markets.

Earlier this year, Victory Pro Wrestling also celebrated a successful return to West Babylon while making its first appearance in Springfield, Massachusetts. Each stop has helped introduce the promotion to new fans while strengthening its presence throughout the region.

Adding to the excitement in Yonkers will be the appearance of legendary wrestling journalist Bill Apter of Pro Wrestling Illustrated. Apter has been one of the most recognizable figures in professional wrestling media for decades and remains a respected voice in the industry. His presence at Legion of Honor will give fans the opportunity to meet one of wrestling’s most iconic journalists in person.

Several of VPW’s top champions are also scheduled to appear at the event. VPW Champion ECW King Alvin, New York State Champion Rex Lawless, VPW Women’s Champion Tiphani Grady and VPW Tag Team Champions Security Inc are all expected to be part of the night’s action.

Additional matches and appearances will be announced in the coming weeks as the card continues to take shape.

• Another rivalry set to continue involves former partners turned bitter enemies. Azure and Steve Somerset erupted into a wild fight at VPW TWENTY that spilled throughout the building and required the locker room to separate them. Now the two will meet in an official match at Battle in Bay Shore 4 as their deeply personal feud continues to escalate.

Victory Pro Wrestling celebrates 20 years of professional wrestling on Long Island with an action packed card already developing.

First, congratulations goes to ECW King Alvin, finally capturing the Victory Pro Wrestling Championship. The 2025 Gold Rush Rumble winner defeated Samwell Thompson due to referee stoppage. After the match was stopped, Alvin continued his assault on Thompson until Anthony Gangone came out to attack the new champion. Referees and security took Gangone to the back, and VPW owner John E Radioo came out to tell Alvin this had to stop, and that at VPW TWENTY: Blood Sweat and 20 Years of Victory Pro Wrestling, it will be ECW KING ALVIN vs DRxSLEEP ANTHONY GANGONE for the Victory Pro Wrestling Championship in a no disqualification match, where anything goes!

VPW Women’s Champion Tiphani Grady successfully defended her championship against Boss Babe B*tch Jacky Go in one of her best performances as champion so far. After the match, Muay Thai Monster Kalypto, who earlier in the night won the opportunity to challenge the champion in April, made an announcement that it would not be Tiphani Grady vs Kalypto, but at VPW TWENTY: Blood Sweat and 20 Years of Victory Pro Wrestling, it would be a triple threat with Grady vs Kalypto vs the returning Unwilting Tatiana.

After successfully defending the VPW Tag Team Championships against Guapo Suave, Security Inc’s celebration was disrupted with the returning Adam Kirkland. With Kirkland at the entrance, Security Inc stood shocked – but coming from behind them through the crowd was Skylar Mack. Mack attacked from behind, Kirkland from the front, until the champions escaped and regrouped at ringside. At VPW TWENTY: Blood Sweat and 20 Years of Victory Pro Wrestling, it’ll be Security Inc vs the Kirkland/Mack team of Committed to Excellence for the tag team championships!

And a blockbuster announcement was to take place as VPW Commissioner Kevin Fulton and Mister Tibbs were talking about the twenty years of VPW. Fulton announced the return of the former King of New York, VPW Tag Team Champion, VPW New York State Champion, and Victory Pro Wrestling Champion Mister Tibbs, but did not get to make the blockbuster announcement as Azure came to the ring. The unpredictable enigma stood face to face with Mister Tibbs before sucker punching the Commish. Tibbs and Azure went to blows, going back and forth, before Fulton saved his best friend from a final neck snap attack that Azure has been using, sending Steve Somerset, Stan Michael, Geronimo, and earlier in the night Nick Robles packing. Tibbs then called out Azure, and at VPW TWENTY: Blood Sweat and 20 Years of Victory Pro Wrestling it will be Mister Tibbs vs Azure.
