BAY SHORE, N.Y. — Together, they formed one of the most dominant tag teams in Victory Pro Wrestling history. Their impressive run included three championship reigns spanning seven years. However, that historic partnership came to a crushing end last December when Azure turned his back on his longtime partner, Steve Somerset.
Since the dramatic betrayal, Azure has been tearing through rosters everywhere he competes. He has left a trail of destruction in his wake, establishing himself as a ruthless singles competitor.
The landscape changed dramatically at VPW TWENTY. An old face returned to Bay Shore when VPW Commissioner Kevin Fulton called in a favor, bringing Somerset back to the promotion. What was scheduled to be a standard wrestling match quickly degenerated into a chaotic brawl that officials could barely contain. The scheduled contest never officially started, leaving both the competitors furious.
The unresolved chaos caught the attention of management. VPW owner John E. Radioo stepped in to settle the score. Radioo decreed that the highly anticipated match will take place in June.
The bitter rivals are scheduled to square off at VPW Battle in Bay Shore 4. The event will take place Saturday, June 13. Fans can witness the historic clash live at Pro Game Sports in Bay Shore.

Two major matches have already been signed for the milestone show.
- Committed to Excellence will receive another opportunity to challenge Security Inc for the VPW Tag Team Championships. After the controversial ending to their last encounter, management has added a major stipulation. If the match ends in a disqualification, the championships can change hands.
- Another rivalry set to continue involves former partners turned bitter enemies. Azure and Steve Somerset erupted into a wild fight at VPW TWENTY that spilled throughout the building and required the locker room to separate them. Now the two will meet in an official match at Battle in Bay Shore 4 as their deeply personal feud continues to escalate.
