BAY SHORE, N.Y. — The road to VPW TWENTY just became even more unpredictable as three determined competitors prepare to collide in a high stakes Triple Threat Turmoil match at VPW Before the Storm on Friday, March 13.

Originally announced as a showdown between La Chica Clara Carreras, Muay Thai Monster Kalypto and the Primadonna Princess Valerie Verman, the match was designed to determine the next challenger for VPW Women’s Champion Tiphani Grady after Grady and Verman attacked and injured The Unwilting Tatiana.

But plans quickly changed.

For reasons that remain unclear, Valerie Verman withdrew from the match. VictoryProWrestling.com reached out to VPW management for clarification, but the only response confirmed that Verman remains contractually obligated to appear at VPW TWENTY in April.

That unexpected vacancy sparked a fierce battle earlier this week at VPW High Alert 2 in West Babylon. Chilean standout Afrodita, the dangerous Desert Rose Amiira Sahar, and the fiery Latina Spice Nat Castle squared off in a triple threat bout.

After a fast paced and hard fought contest, it was Castle who secured the victory and the opportunity of a lifetime. VPW Management has been impressed with Castle’s recent performances, and with the vacancy created by Valerie’s absence, they felt it was time to give Latina Spice a shot.

Now Castle enters a volatile matchup alongside two competitors with championship ambitions of their own.

Kalypto has quickly built a reputation as one of the most dangerous and unpredictable competitors in the VPW women’s division. The Muay Thai striker has struggled to build alliances in the locker room, often clashing with fellow competitors. Her frustrations have only grown after The Unwilting Tatiana captured a victory in a match Kalypto herself pushed management to create. Determined to prove she belongs at the top, Kalypto has made it clear that her ultimate goal is the VPW Women’s Championship.

Standing in her path is La Chica Clara Carreras, a history maker in Victory Pro Wrestling. Since debuting in 2021, Carreras became the first woman to compete for the VPW Tag Team Championships. Now she looks to add another milestone by earning a title opportunity against Grady.

Castle may be the newest name in the match, but she arrives with momentum. Debuting in VPW in 2023, the reigning CAP Women’s Champion and former MEW Women’s Champion has already shared the ring with Grady and wants another chance.

What will happen when VPW presents Before the Storm on Friday night, March 13?
