YONKERS, N.Y. – Scores may be settled, championships may be defended, but some rivalries refuse to die. That is exactly the case when VPW Tag Team Champions Security Inc step back into the ring against Misery Inc at Legion of Honor on Sunday, June 7, at the American Legion on McLean Street in Yonkers.
The last time these two teams collided was at Orcamania, and controversy remains the story everyone is talking about. Security Inc, consisting of Officer Ronald Moses and Guard Dog Malcolm Murray, escaped with the victory, but not without raising serious questions. As the match reached its breaking point, Moses used his baton to knock out Troy Locke, allowing the champions to steal a win that many fans believed should have belonged to Misery Inc.
For Vi Daniel and Troy Locke, the defeat was more than a loss in the record books. It was a robbery that continues to leave unfinished business hanging over the tag team division. Since that night, Misery Inc has made it clear that they are not interested in excuses, explanations or apologies. They want revenge, and they want another shot at the champions.
Security Inc sees things differently. The champions remain confident that their combination of power, aggression and experience makes them the most dominant team in Victory Pro Wrestling. Whether fans agree with their tactics or not, Moses and Murray still hold the gold.
Now, the stage is set for a rematch with even higher stakes. Can Misery Inc finally gain redemption and prove they are the better team? Or will Security Inc once again find a way to leave with their championship reign intact?
