YONKERS NY – Victory Pro Wrestling returns to Yonkers on Sunday, June 7, when Legion of Honor takes over the American Legion on McLean Street for an afternoon of high energy, family friendly professional wrestling.
Fans throughout Westchester County will once again experience the excitement that Victory Pro Wrestling has become known for, as some of the promotion’s most popular and hard hitting competitors step into the ring for an action packed event.
Adding to the atmosphere is a very special guest host. Legendary wrestling journalist Bill Apter will be on hand to greet fans and lend his voice to VPW. Apter built his reputation as one of the most recognizable figures in wrestling media through his work as editor and contributor for publications such as Pro Wrestling Illustrated, The Wrestler, Inside Wrestling and other well known magazines that helped shape how generations of fans followed the sport.
For decades, Apter chronicled the careers of wrestling’s biggest stars, making his presence at Legion of Honor a unique opportunity for fans to see one of the industry’s most respected voices in person.
Inside the ring, the competition will be just as memorable.
New York State Champion Rex Lawless is expected to be in action as he continues his dominant run through Victory Pro Wrestling’s roster. The powerhouse champion has built a reputation as one of the most dangerous competitors in the promotion with the Rex Lawless Open Challenge, and every appearance raises the stakes for anyone brave enough to challenge him.
The women’s division will also be represented by Women’s Champion Tiphani Grady, who has proven time and again that she is one of the most formidable athletes in the company.
Tag Team Champions Security Inc are also scheduled to appear, bringing their hard hitting style and championship pedigree to the event.

Parking is limited to neighborhood street parking. However, Mass transit is available.
- Bee-Line Bus System: Several routes run along or connect to McLean Avenue. Specific schedules can be checked on the Bee-Line website.
- NYC Subway (241st St Station): The IRT White Plains Road Line (2 train) terminates at 241st Street, a short walking distance from parts of McLean Ave.
- Metro-North Railroad (Hudson Line): The Metro-North stations in Yonkers or Mount Vernon West offer service to Manhattan, with connecting Bee-Line buses available.
