BAY SHORE, N.Y. — Victory Pro Wrestling’s March 13 event, Before the Storm, will feature a clash of momentum and unpredictability when the dangerous Azure meets the returning Rocker Boy Nick Robles.
Azure has entered a new and unsettling chapter in his career. Once known as part of a respected tag team alongside longtime partner Steve Somerset, Azure shocked the VPW locker room when he brutally attacked Somerset following the loss of the VPW Tag Team Championships. The betrayal sent a clear message that the competitor fans once knew has been replaced by something far more volatile.
That chaos continued at King of New York. After defeating Stan Michael in tournament competition, Azure appeared ready to deliver even more punishment until Brother Greatness rushed in to stop the assault. The incident reinforced the growing concern around Azure’s state of mind.
Attempts by VictoryProWrestling.com to speak with him have gone nowhere. Officials say communication has been difficult, and Azure has made it clear he intends to let his actions speak louder than words.
Standing across the ring will be a familiar face making a long-awaited return.
Rocker Boy Nick Robles is set to step back into a VPW ring with the same larger-than-life personality that made him a fan favorite. Robles continues to embrace the rock star lifestyle that defines his persona, but this return comes with a new direction.
For the first time in years, Robles enters VPW on his own. Without former partners Dante Drago or Jack Tomlinson at his side, the Rocker Boy is focused on proving he can thrive as a singles competitor.
Robles has made it clear he wants to climb the rankings and break into VPW’s championship picture. To do that, he must first survive one of the most dangerous competitors in the locker room.
