BAY SHORE, N.Y. — The war between Tiphani Grady and Kalypto is about to reach its boiling point, and the VPW Women’s Championship hangs in the balance.
At VPW TWENTY: Blood Sweat and 20 Years on Saturday, April 18 in Bay Shore, Grady will defend her championship against the relentless challenger Kalypto in a match fueled by ambition, bitterness and a title that neither woman is willing to surrender.
Originally scheduled as a triple threat contest, the match changed dramatically after Unwilting Tatiana was pulled from the event due to injury and will not be medically cleared to compete.
That leaves the spotlight squarely on the growing rivalry between champion and challenger.
Grady’s championship reign has been a mix of dominance and controversy. With Valerie Verman frequently lurking at ringside, the champion has built a reputation for surviving by any means necessary. Distractions, interference and perfectly timed opportunism have helped Grady keep the gold around her waist while her list of enemies continues to grow.
But Kalypto has proven she is not intimidated.
The Muay Thai Monster has fought her way into contention with relentless intensity and a refusal to back down. Kalypto earned this championship opportunity by winning the No. 1 contender match and has made it clear that the VPW Women’s Championship is her ultimate goal.
While Grady has spent months finding ways to escape challengers, Kalypto represents a different kind of threat. She brings speed, striking power and the hunger of a competitor who believes this moment belongs to her.
For Grady, the mission is simple. Survive.
For Kalypto, it is even simpler. Take the championship.
When the bell rings at VPW TWENTY, excuses disappear and interference may not be enough to save the champion.
