Victory Pro Wrestling’s most decorated athlete will collide with a battle-tested newcomer to the company when Eric James meets The Brooklyn Outlaw Donovan at Battle in Bay Shore 3 on Saturday, June 7 at Pro Game Sports.
Known as “The King of Queens,” James is the standard bearer in VPW. He is a three-time VPW Champion, two-time New York State Champion and former Tag Team Champion. His three-time victory in the prestigious King of New York tournament further cements his legacy as one of the most dominant figures in the promotion’s 19-year history.
James, who has also competed on WWE and AEW programming, brings national exposure to the local independent circuit. His ability to evolve over nearly two decades has kept him at the top of VPW’s roster.
Standing across from him will be “The Brooklyn Outlaw” Donovan, a 20-year ring veteran with a championship pedigree. Donovan has held the IWC World Heavyweight Championship three times and the UWF Championship eight times. Now, he sets his sights on VPW gold for the first time.
“Donovan has built a strong reputation outside of VPW,” said VPW owner John E. Radioo. “This match is more than just a debut—it’s a statement. He’s coming in hungry.”
Donovan’s second match in VPW comes with high stakes. While no title is on the line, a win over James would instantly position him in championship conversations. For James, the match is about defending his legacy and proving he’s still the measuring stick in Victory Pro Wrestling.
