Cain Industries is teetering on the edge of implosion. The CEO of Cain Industries Adam Cain and Dr Sleep Anthony Gangone once ran a successful operation, but their business agreement has fractured. Gangone believes his methods are the key to keeping the VPW Tag Team Championship, while Cain insists his approach is the only way to succeed. After losing the titles, both men tried to reclaim them. Gangone’s strategy earned them a title opportunity, but Cain’s insistence on doing things his way cost them at the Gold Rush Rumble.
Tensions have only grown since then. At Haunted Ground, Gangone left a cryptic message for Cain, warning that he knows Cain wants a fight. That challenge will finally be answered at Thanks… for Nothing, where the two will settle their differences inside the ring. The stakes are high, not just for pride, but for control of Cain Industries and their standing in VPW.
Managing this volatile match will be none other than Silk E Smooth, Cain Industries’ director of operations and long-time mediator. Tasked with calling the match down the middle as a special guest referee, Silk reluctantly faces the daunting challenge of keeping two highly competitive and stubborn athletes under control.
Fans are left to wonder if Silk can maintain order or if the rivalry will spiral completely out of control. Will Cain find a way to overcome and keep his businss afloat or will Gangone find a way to destroy Cain Industries, leaving chaos in its wake?
