The rivalry between Brother Greatness and The Veteran David Graham reached a boiling point at Victory Pro Wrestling’s Haunted Ground, ending in a finish that left fans and officials alike questioning who truly earned the victory.
In a match that showcased two of VPW’s most passionate competitors, Brother Greatness and David Graham traded control from the opening bell. The intensity between the two was evident, as each countered the other’s offense with a mix of experience, strength, and willpower. The Bay Shore crowd roared with every near fall, knowing the bad blood between these two made every move count.
The end came after a flurry of pinning combinations that had the referee and the audience struggling to keep up. As Graham went for what appeared to be the final cover, both men’s shoulders were down on the mat. Senior official Emi Infanto made the three-count, but when the dust settled, confusion filled the ring.
It looked as though Graham had secured the pinfall, but Infanto ruled that both competitors’ shoulders were on the canvas when her hand hit three. The match was declared a double pinfall, leaving no clear winner and plenty of frustration on both sides.
David Graham argued his case to the referee, pointing to what he believed was an obvious victory. Brother Greatness, shaken yet defiant, stood by the ruling, proclaiming that divine justice had been served. After, in a sign of good sportsmanship, Greatness extended his hand to Graham. What he received was a smack before Graham escaped to the crowd.
With no resolution in sight, one thing is certain: the battle between Brother Greatness and The Veteran David Graham is far from over, and the VPW Faithful will be watching closely when these two collide again at Thanks… for Nothing.
