The Man Who Eliminated Graham From the Rumble Is Coming for His Championship

BAY SHORE NY – New York State Champion David Graham has built his reign on arrogance, aggression and the relentless influence of Silk E Smooth, but at VPW Haunted Ground, the champion faces a challenge he cannot dismiss. Mister Tibbs returns to singles competition with one opportunity standing between him and a future shot at Graham’s championship.

The stakes are brutally simple: Tibbs must defeat Graham in the New York State “Closed” Challenge to earn the right to challenge for the title. For Graham, the match is about protecting the championship and proving that nobody can force his hand, especially someone who had eliminated him from the Gold Rush Rumble.

Tibbs has unfinished business with VPW. His last singles match came in March 2022, when he challenged Johnny Collins for the Victory Pro Wrestling Championship, and now he returns with a chance to reclaim his place in the company.

Graham has Silk E Smooth in his corner, but even that advantage may not be enough when Tibbs steps through the ropes. One victory puts Tibbs on the path to the New York State Championship, while one defeat leaves him staring at the same opportunity he has waited years to reclaim.
