Journey Burke, Esq enters the contest looking to make a powerful statement. After a roller-coaster run in PWM that saw her capture, then lose, the Women’s Championship, Burke aims to prove that her success was no fluke. A victory in Bay Shore could cement her status as one of the top female wrestlers on the independent circuit with the richest women’s championship in the Northeast.
“Latina Spice” Nat Castle brings her signature energy and momentum into the match. The Long Island favorite already holds championships in MEW and CAP, but she has made it no secret that the VPW Women’s title has been on her radar since day one. A win on Saturday could put her in position to claim her third championship and make history in Victory Pro Wrestling.
Finally, The Unwilting Tatiana is no stranger to the gold. A former VPW Women’s Champion, she knows what it takes to reach the top. However, with her attention divided thanks to her growing rivalry with Valerie Verman, the question remains whether she can stay focused long enough to reclaim her place among the elite.
La Pegasa was originally scheduled to participate in what was originally scheduled as a Fatal Four Way contest, but she was in a car accident earlier this week and will not be able to compete. This sets the stage even higher for Tatiana, Castle, and Burke now having to step up their game for the right to challenge for the Women’s Division’s top prize.
