For the first time in over 19 years, Victory Pro Wrestling is hittting the road to Westchester County when we present “Memorial Mayhem: The Cornerman’s Cup” on Sunday May 25 in Yonkers.
This one is a special event, as we pay respects to “The Cornerman” Juan Jeremy. Juan wasn’t just part of the early days of VPW—he was a bridge between generations, a vital link between WWE Hall of Famer Johnny Rodz and the larger NYC wrestling community. He was a passionate supporter, a trusted mentor, and more than anything else, a friend to so many.
One of Juan’s dreams was to wrestle in Japan. In October 2024, he got to fulfill that dream, performing for our friends at Kaiju Big Battel as “Dust-o Bunny,” one of their standout characters. That match would be his last. It brings us peace to know he left the ring doing something he loved, in a place he always wanted to be.
To honor his memory, on Sunday, May 25, we’ll travel to Yonkers for Memorial Mayhem. That night, we will present the first-ever Cornerman’s Cup—an Empire State Casino Royale-style over-the-top-rope battle royal—in tribute to Juan Jeremy.
We hope you’ll join us as we celebrate the life, legacy, and love of “The Cornerman.”
