Gangone survived his war with Alvarez, but the threats surrounding the championship continue to grow. Gold Rush Rumble winner Rex Lawless has made it clear that he wants Gangone and the VPW Championship, while Dr. Sleep is also searching for an opportunity to challenge for the gold.
Standing across the ring will be Azure, a competitor who has been nearly impossible to stop throughout 2026. After defeating Steve Somerset in the latest edition of “Azure’s Playhouse” at the Gold Rush Rumble, Azure enters Haunted Ground with momentum, confidence and a target firmly fixed on Gangone’s championship.
