BAY SHORE, N. Y. – Victory Pro Wrestling’s tag team champions are not in a celebratory mood.
Officer Ronald Moses and Guard Dog Malcom Murray of Security Inc expected a moment worthy of their dominance. Instead, their official championship celebration quickly unraveled. A flimsy banner hung behind them. Balloons sagged without air. What was designed as a victory ceremony felt more like a setup.
Commissioner Kevin Fulton organized the event to honor the newly crowned champions. But he also extended an invitation that changed everything.
Guapo Suave.
The rising duo of Diego Alvarez and Big Lex Lozano made their VPW debut in Connecticut last year and wasted little time making an impression. Confident, composed and unafraid of confrontation, they arrived at the ceremony during King of New York uninvited in spirit, even if their names were on the list. Before the champions could properly address the crowd, Guapo Suave inserted themselves into the spotlight.
The message was clear. They are not here to clap politely. They are here to take the gold.
What began as a celebration became a declaration of war. Guapo Suave staked their claim and were granted a tag team championship opportunity at VPW Before the Storm on Friday, March 13 in Bay Shore. Now the belts are officially on the line.
For Security Inc, this is more than a first defense. It is about respect. Moses and Murray believe the ceremony was a calculated attempt to embarrass them and undermine their reign before it truly began. A loss this early would validate every doubt and hand momentum to a hungry team looking to redefine the division.
For Guapo Suave, this is the opportunity of a lifetime. A win would not only crown new champions, it would announce them as a premier force in VPW.
The celebration is over. On March 13, the real statement will be made inside the ring.
What will happen when VPW presents Before the Storm on Friday night, March 13?
