BAY SHORE NY – The questions surrounding Committed to Excellence took another turn Friday when Adam Kirkland took to social media and promised “an eye for an eye” ahead of Gold Rush Rumble.
Kirkland revealed that earlier in the day, he attacked and neutralized Malcom Murray, one of the men responsible for the assault that left Skyler Mack with a serious arm injury.
Kirkland made it clear that the attack will not keep him from competing Saturday at Pro Game Sports. With Mack’s status still uncertain, Kirkland says he will be in Bay Shore and is looking forward to facing Ronald Moses.
The situation adds another layer of danger to an already volatile championship showdown.

Security Inc. is one victory away from reclaiming the VPW Tag Team Championships, but the road to Gold Rush Rumble has already been filled with controversy, violence and unanswered questions.
After defeating ManteChica in a hard fought battle, Security Inc. secured a championship opportunity against Committed to Excellence on Saturday, Aug. 8, at Pro Game Sports in Bay Shore. The victory did not come without debate. The match changed dramatically when Moses introduced pepper spray into the contest, creating an opening that may have altered the outcome and punched Security Inc.’s ticket to the title match.
Now the focus shifts to the condition of champion Skyler Mack.
At Summer Showdown, Moses and Murray launched a brutal assault that left Mack with a serious arm injury. Last week, the VPW medical team determined Mack was not medically cleared to compete at Outside the Box.
CTE’s Adam Kirkland has made one thing clear. He will be in Bay Shore and ready for the fight. What remains unknown is whether his partner will stand beside him when the bell rings.
VPW officials have remained silent regarding Mack’s status, offering no indication that the champion has been cleared.
